The CSA-GDV can be used as a Master Unit to connect to other Cig-Arrête products (when used with a CSA-DBD board module), such as other Smoke or Flame Slave detectors, power supply units, and Combined Sounder Beacons, or other external equipment. The CSA-GDV may be battery powered or may be connected to a power supply unit. The module is fixed to the ceiling of the area to be protected by 2 screws and quite simply monitors the environment from this point on. Fitted in minutes it can provide a simple solution to policing smoking hotspots. The unique Cig-Arrête® detector will automatically sound a prerecorded warning whenever cigarette smoke is detected, thereby helping to prevent illicit smoking on your premises and providing a visual and audible re-enforcement of your commitment to creating a smoke-free environment. One unit covers an area of 27m3 (3x3x3m). When installed as part of a Cig-Arrête system, the CSA-GDV can be combined with Slave units (CSA-SGA / CSA-FUV).
